Anton Riepl
Anton "Toni" Riepl (born 28 February 1969) is a retired German high jumper.
He finished twelfth at the 1995 World Indoor Championships.〔(1995 World Indoor Championships results, men's high jump final ) - Die Leichtatletik-Statistik-Seite〕 He represented the sports club LAC Quelle Fürth. At the German championships he won the bronze medal in 1997 behind Martin Buss and Christian Rhoden. His personal best jump outdoors was 2.26 metres, achieved in May 1993 in Vilsbiburg.〔(World men's all-time best high jump (last updated 2001) )〕 However, indoors he had 2.33 metres in February 1995 in Siegen.〔(World men's all-time best high jump (last updated 2001) )〕 Riepl stood 1.75 m (5 ft 83⁄4 in) tall, and thus jumped 0.58 metres (1 ft 103⁄4 in) higher than himself.
